Art exhibit
The Galerie du Nouvel-Ontario offers the opportunity to see the exhibition of Annie Pelletier, Tuesdays to Saturdays, noon-5 p. m., until June 28.
Pelletier is originally from Asbestos in Quebec's Eastern Township. She has been living in Trois-Rivières for about 15 years.
Her exhibition is entitled "Shelves: a part of a larger surface."
From the sidewalks, through the gallery's storefront, people can see shelves full of salvaged objects. Estranged from their original functions, these objects are displayed in a show of light, colour and forms. Transparency and hues of green predominate this illuminated pictorial composition.
The gallery is located at 174 Elgin St.
