Secretary General of Organization of African Trade Unions Unity commends leader's efforts to unite AfricaSecretary General of Organization of African Trade Unions Unity, Hassan Samono highly commended the Libyan leader's efforts to unite the African continent and bring about its people's dream in unity and economic integration
In his speech at the opening session of the 9th ordinary meeting of the Organization, in Tripoli today, the Secretary General said:
(We salute the Leader's big efforts for the unity and economic integration of Africa and we praise Libya for hosting the conference). He also greeted the participating delegations from Africa, as well as other trade unions that came from Europe, Asia , Palestine, China, Portugal, France and Italy. He pointed out that the functions of the conference will include organizing a festival to show the solidarity of African Trade Unions with the Palestinian people, hoping that the conference will achieve its objectives and issue important resolutions regarding African integration and unity. from mathaba.net 16/05/2008
